Assessing Translation Students in a Brazilian University

From a Translation Studies perspective, translation assessment is gradually becoming more popular thanks to increasing academic interest in translator education. In fact, we believe that evaluation should be deeply explored order systematise and consolidate how it carried out, especially particular Brazilian context. As still witness an unwelcome focus on summative of students with little room for constructive feedback from educators, the purpose this article discuss ways assess move beyond traditional approaches. The here formative assessment, whose emphasis better suits dynamic nature education have.
